Your support has made a meaningful contribution to the success of our events, and we are very grateful for Council’s continued support of our community initiatives.
Local Community Support Grant 2025/26 Samford District Bowls Club Inc. wish to express our thanks to the Moreton Bay Regional Council for their ongoing support and the approval of a recent grant for $995. The funds were used to purchase a much needed new vacuum cleaner.

The Samford District Bowls Club Inc. would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the Moreton Bay City Council for their ongoing support and for granting us the funds we received. Your continual backing is invaluable to our bowls club. In particular, we are deeply appeciative of the grant that will enable us to replace the colour bond fence and air condititioner in our office that were unfortunately lost in recent floods. Your financial assistance will go a long way in helping us restore our facilities and ensure the continued well being of our club.

Local Community Support
Grant Application 2324-254-LCSG We at the Samford District Bowls Club Inc. wish to express our thanks and gratitude to the Moreton Bay Regional Council for their ongoing support and the approval of a recent grant through the Local Community Support Grant Round 4 2023/24 for the amount of $2,000.
The funds provided through the grant will be used to purchase much needed equipment, boundary, jack markers and metal stationery cabinets which were lost in the January 2024 flooding of the club.
Moreton Bay Regional Councils support has been a long and rewarding partnership between our club and council.
The Samford Bowls Club wishes to thank the City of Moreton Bay for the provision of funding $2828 through the Local Community Support Grant to allow installation of new lighting between the two bowling greens and along the front of the clubhouse.
The Samford Bowls Club wishes to thank the Moreton Bay Regional Council and in particular Councillor Darren Grimwade for their continued support.
Our club is the recipient of generous funding through the Moreton Bay Regional Council’s, Local Community Facilities Grant 2022/23 Round 2.
The grant totaling $1526 has been used to purchase bar tables and chairs for our new outdoor function area. The outdoor function area was built partially due to a previous MBRC Community Facilities Grant – 2021/22.

Samford Bowls Club thanks the Moreton Bay Regional Council for their support with a recent grant application which was through the Community Facilities Grant – 2021/22. The funding has allowed the club to install an insulated Patio Cover over a concrete slab which is hoped will be used by social groups for parties, barefoot bowls etc. The amount received was $16,385.
We wish to thank the Department of Tourism, Innovation & Sport (DTIS) through the Community & Recreational Assets Recovery and Resilience program for the Grant received to replace the artificial grass surrounds following the flood in February 2022.
